More Than A Book gives you tools for engaging your kids in meaningful conversations and actions around these kinds of subjects, sparked by reading stories together from our curated list of children’s books.

For each book of interest, we encourage you—prior to sitting down with your child—to first read the story yourself, or listen to the free Read Aloud, so you have a chance to process the book’s message. Then review our suggested Talk About It questions and Explore More activities to decide which discussions and projects will capture your child’s interest.

By talking and doing, your family will not only become more comfortable with these issues, but strengthen your commitment to being activists for change.
